Anyone out there with the same truck as me wanna suggest a good location to install the brake controller? I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab, 4x4, automatic. A picture would be great!

I have an 05 2500 also and I put my brake controller in the little compartment under the radio. There is a small shelf or storage area there and my controller fit perfectly on the left side and then left room for me to lay my garage door opener on the right side. I guess this storage area was intended for CD's but it makes a good area for the controller. I had to have my controller stick out about an inch to enable access to the control knob on the side to increase/decrease braking. This worked perfectly. Plus it looks good and is at the right height to allow me to see the display when I'm driving. I always like to see the percentage of brake current it is set on. I took the entire housing out to drill the holes and mount the bracket.

My Dodge manual specifically instructs the operator not to install anything on the "knee bolster" (that area under the steering wheel). Could get ugly in the event of an accident. I put mine in one of the center dash cubby holes which is a bit more work but may be safer.
Just a thought.
