we camp away from electricity, last night when we got here we started the refrigerator on LP, no problem. This morning the check light was on, I checked the LP tank, full, I turned the frig off and back to LP, I heard the igniter clicking, the pilot lit, then immediately went out. I lit all 3 burners on the stove, no problem, tried frig again, same issue. I opened the access panel while my wife turned the frig off, and back to LP, I couldnt see the flame but I heard the igniter clicking several times, then finally lit, and again went right out.

Had the same problem with my nordacold. Thought it ws the thermo coupler but no luck, took it in and there was a interlock somewhere in the system that quit. took them a week to get the part and nothing $225 wouldn't fix. Long story short, unless you know how to trouble shoot the system its cheaper to take it in and have fixed. Switches and interlocks can cost lots of money if you don't know which one to replace

If you are dry camping and the battery drops below 9 volts, it will lock out the gas valve as the circuit board needs no less than 9 volts to run.

I had the same problem. Took it to Jayco repair dealer & turns out it was the electronic card. Costs me $100, but worth it - nothing I could have done to fix that on my own. Sounds like lots of folks have had this problem.

Ok, I changed my battery just to make sure, nope still no worky. Just got back home and put the battery I took out on the charger, it was fully charged, so that definetly wasnt my problem.
From what Ive heard here, sounds like I have a frig problem that only a dealer will be able to correct.
Thanks for all you ideas and resposes!

Two things to try before you take it into a repair shop, take an air compressor and open up the fridge access panel and blow out everything, especially the gas orfice. The second thing you may want to check is the temp. setting and make sure you have a starting point of half way and not all the way to the coldest setting. The reason I point this out, is I have a friend with a Dometic unit and he had it set to the coldest setting and it was doing the same thing as yours and when he set the temp to the half way point, it did fire up and is working again.

If its a Dometic, go to their web site with your model number, they have a good trouble shooting chart.

It is a nordacold, but I will try your suggestions, thanks.
The truth is I dont have truck to take it in, we have it parked on our own camp sight. So I will have to rent or borrow a truck, I would realy like to fix this myself, if at all possible.

We came to camp last night, turned on the gas bottle, lit the stove burners, let them burn a couple minutes. I set the frig temp to 3, turned it to LP, it lit, Woo Hoo, after a couple minutes I turned it up, and we still have a cold frig this morning. So all I can figure is that I must of had too much air in the line, and I didn't give it enough time to clear.
Thanks for all your ideas and suggestions, fingers crossed for Cool Camping ahead.
