It was a good decision to leave the golden home. We travel with 3 goldens and I'd never leave them out. I'd never forgive myself if something happened; i.e. a simple bite from a rodent, snake, or whatever.
We started camping in a small Coachmen 249QB; the bigger TT is because of the dogs.

DOGS LOVE CAMPING. As a friend described it,"Camping where humans are dirty all the time!" This picture was pre rv days. Now we clip her so she doesn't shed too much and bring her along in the TT. She never barks or causes any trouble.

Maybe if we go someplace closer to home we can take him and then if it doesn't work we can run him home to the pet sitter. I know he would love it.

IMO, I would only take your Golden if his/her name is "Dan". If his/her name is "Ted", I would leave him/her at home.

Well... his name is Ted therefore he stayed home and will stay home on further trips.
