your tanks

I ask because when we purchased the coach (newmar canyon star 08) it would literally take about 1/2 hour. We had them add some blocks to improve the pitch and now will still take about 15min. There is about 10 feet of tube between the tanks and the dump.

It helps if we are level or leaned toward the dump site, but this is not always possible if waiting on line to empty.

This is not an issue if we have full hookup, but if we are on a line, people are not going to be too happy if we take 15+ minutes.

Any other tips or suggestions for speeding up the process?

My tanks (about 40-45 gallons each) will dump in 3-4 minutes total for both.

I haven't timed it but it takes several minutes. The gray tank empties through one and a half inch pipe and the black through a 3 inch pipe people just need to be patient. Only the inconsiderate people that dump on the concrete and wash it down are faster. Don't worry about it just do it as quick as you can, If people are waiting don't flush the tanks.

dh likes to rinse the tanks, etc., so it takes, maybe, 10-15 minutes.

Some RV's have a 3" gray and black dup line. Some have a 2" gray and a 3" black. Takes for ever to dump that gray tank on some.

It really shouldn't take much over 5 minutes. If you took a half hour at the BLM in Quartzsite they would hang you from a cactus.
