I want to hear from the owners of the Tsunami MF 1050 12 Volt Air Compressors.

Because of the recommendations of the campers on this forum I now own the above air compressor. I am very happy with it. It does a very good job of keeping 80 psi in all my tires.

But, there is a small problem. The air hose that came with it, is too short. I need a longer air hose. There are plenty of air hoses around all over the place but non of these will fit the coupling on the Tsunami.

You owners of the Tsunami, what have you done to rectify this situation? (Yes I know, I can extend the power cord but that is only a last resort)

I have same problem as you. Hook up 12 volt at house batteries on drivers side. On passenger side I hook up to the Chassis connection point under hood. Keeps things simple. Been waiting for someone to come up with a fix for the connector.

I don't have one of these but I've seen them before. Doesn't it have a standard type M quick disconnect coupling on it? If not, why not replace the non-standard coupling with a standard one and use standard hose?

Some one just sent me a private message and asked me where I got this Tsunami compressor from.
The wife just called me to breakfast. I left this computer running and when I came back it had shut down and deleted my letter.

My answer is: I ordered my compressor through Amazon.com However, a person can do a google search and find lots of places that sell them.
The reason I used Amazon was because they had the best price at that time.

In parting I must say this little (Chinese made) compressor is well built and doesn't seem to strain to get the tires up to 80 psi.

If I can be of further help just send me another message.
