I have finally decided to install a power jack on my Rockwood 8317. I think I will purchase the Barker 3500 and didn't know if the 2.25 inch size will fit? I see that Mantelli on Ebay is selling it for $179 plus shipping and that seems like a good deal.

For anyone who has installed a power jack on a rockwood 8317 do you know if the 2.25 fits? I just didn't want to order it and then have to ship it back.

Thanks in advance.

I ordered a Barker 3000 High Power jack from the factory. when it came in I saw that it was also had a 2.25 diameter tube. when I removed the old crank jack, the hole in the tounge was plenty large enough for it to fit our Surveyor SV291 I guess if you NEED to be sure you can look under the tounge and check the gap around the jack you have and measure the tube with with the trailer hitched to your T V.

Installed an Ultra Fab 3500 (2 1/4" tube) on my Flagstaff 831QBSS (same as your Rockwood 8317). No problem with tube diameter.

I'm sure it will fit, this is a common question, and no one that I have heard has had an issue. To confirm maybe you can put a jack under the tongue and unbolt the OE crank jack to check, but I'd bet you a dollar it fits.
