We live in Florida and when camping in the morning the AC is going, the coffee pot is going, the TV is on, then breakfast with the microwave, toster etc. a lot of amps (watts too). Then the wife will crank on her hair drier.
With a 30 amp unit this is too much. Since most camp grounds now have 50 amp availible can you/should you just use the 50 amp with an adapter?

You'll still can only use 30 AMPs since the unit is wired and breaker for 30 AMPs service.
