If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

Not a problem.. Enjoy Gettysburg Depending on which campground your in the post will more than likely have a 30 amp outlet in addition to the 50 amp outlet. But even if it only has a 50 amp outlet your adapter will do the trick...

Without knowing which CG you're referring to, I'm guessing that your 50 amp site will also have a 30 amp outlet. Just don't run everything at once - operate what you usually do on 30 amp, no more - and you should be fine, regardless.

Most 50 amp pedestals also have a 30 amp and 20 amp outlet. Yes, you can use an adapter.

I went camping last week and we had to use a 50amp ped. because the park was full. No problem, just bring your adapter with you. Wally World is a lot cheaper than a rv park if you don't have one and have to buy one.

Put your mind at ease, there is no problem with using the adapter and as mentioned most have 50 & 30 amp recptacles where no adapter is needed.

Your converter will draw up the lesser of it's needs or the trip point of the circuit breakers feeding it, no more.. and it likely eats from a 15 or 20 amp breaker inside your rig
If you plug into a 50 amp circuit, using a 50-30 dog bone.. You might want to use a 15-30 plug in adapter and plug in your volt meter first If it says about 110-120. GO FOR IT
If it says 240 either the dog bone or the park has a problem.. And I'm guessing it's not the dog bone
PS.. Don't plug the rig into that outlet
NOTE: might not be a bad idea to use the needed adapter and plug in that meter ANY time you hook up

Be sure to use the "dog bone" type adapter and not the short one piece adapters without a cord. The short adapters can get hot and can short out.
