Has anyone been to Savage River yet this season? I am wondering if the snow has melted? I heard that TEk was closed due to Ice. I will be tent camping there later this month and want to be prepared. Thanks

Snow had gone two weeks ago, no water and not all toilets were open. May have changed now check with the rangers. Teklanica looked like it may open in July sometime when the snow goes it will be a bog. Good luck.

We were at Savage just a few days ago. No snow. No water, but all should be OK by now. 3 days dry camping, no problem.

Boat: 32' 1996 Albin 32+2, single Cummins 315hp
40+ night per year overnighter

RV: slightly pre enjoyed 2006 Alpenlite 34RLR LTD
