Yes, Grizzly has a laundry; more than one if I remember correctly.

Grizzly has multiple small laundries - I believe each bathhouse has one, and there are bathhouses scattered around the CG. The one nearest us had a small bathroom (2 stalls, 2 shower stalls each for men & women) and the laundry had 2 washers & 2 dryers. With multiple locations, I had no trouble running at least one load at a time.

Incidentally, as previously noted, we did check out the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Interesting, though I was a bit disappointed in the live animal habitats they have there. They are planning to improve them. Didn't have time for the IMAX but it shows one of 3 or 4 films every 2 hours.

Oh, and try the huckleberry ice cream at the ice cream kiosk on the main drag.

We were there July 1-4 and stayed at Yellowstone Valley Inn (Cody-Wapiti). Good roomy gravel sites and excellent restaurant. Stayed at Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone. There is no better anywhere in or around Yellowstone.

when we stayed at cody koa back in 01 it was like being in a sardine can. the only good thing that i can remember were the pancakes. last summer we stayed at buffalo bill state park, no hook-ups but it was a lot nicer. will do the same on the next trip which might not happen due to gasoline prices.

check out rvparkreviews.com- this is a really good site for independant user reviews of campgrounds and RV parks. I have found it quite helpful.

X2 on the Ponderosa in Cody. Great place to stay although some/most of the spots are a little tight. Plenty of room for large rigs. Nice laundry and nice showers. Cable TV and Wi-Fi.

Cody is also a great place to stay. There is lots to see and do in Cody and the Ponderosa is centrally located in town. West Yellowstone would be closer to the Park than Cody but the drive from Cody to Yellowstone ( 52 miles ) is one of the most beautiful drives you will take, equal to Yellowstone. The Chief Joseph scenic Byway ( Cody to Cooke City, Montana ) and the beginning of the very scenic Beartooth Highway ( Cooke City to Red Lodge ) are only an hour or so away. Two wild horse ranges within an hour of Cody.

I've been here since the first of May and still not seen it all

We just returned from Cody and we spent 9 days there in the Ponderosa campground. Really nice place with tight camping spots and cable was great. The WiFi was really poor. Never more than 1 bar and if you managed to get on, you were booted off very fast. Went to the office to inquire about the range and was given a number to call TCT who diagnosed the problem with the campground in some way and they denied it so no PC the whole 9 days. They are located in a central area to most attractions. Also, bring cash or checks as they do not accept credit cards.
