Our new KZ Spree 290BHS has two roof vent locations - bathroom and master bedroom - at opposite ends of the trailer. The one in the bedroom came with a Fantastic Fan, while the one in the bathroom did not. For those that have these (or a comparable other brand product) do you recommend getting a second one for the bathroom, or is this overkill?

I have had three trailers in 25 years....... all new. First one, no fantastic fan. Second, one Fantastic Fan. Third, two Fantastic fans (in front bedroom and in rear bath). Next RV will have three of them........ for bedroom, bath and kitchen.

We only run the bathroom fan while we are in the bathroom. We have a MaxxAir turbo fan on the front fan that circulates the air in the rv very well. Other itmes we use air. But our RV is only 25', you may need more exhaust if you have a big rv or a big bathroom that gets used alot and steams up. I know I dont like to run our bathroom fan long as it is loud and kinda flimsy.

We have two wish it was four. All have max-airs on top. The one in the kitchen is just on/off no t-stat. The one in the bathroom is in/out T-stat controlled. Wish both were. In cool weather we use it to push air into the unit and then shut down as it see cold. works like a champ. Would love to have them over the bedrooms, but gota cut holes. Maybe one day. By the way with both on low with the windows closed you can hear air leaking around the windows. They Move alot of air. If you can more is better.

My old Class C came with no fantastic fans. I installed 3 -- one in the living room / kitchen, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. IMO the fantastic fans are well worth the money and time to put in and night / day compared to the little fans that are in some bathrooms. I would recommend one in the bathroom -- especially because of the moisture from the shower.

If you ever run into any questions / issues on installation, you can contact the factory directly and speak with a technician. They are EXTREMELY helpful and have excellent customer service.

at opposite ends it would be good to get a push/pull cross flow thru your unit.
I replaced the little whir and buzz in the bath of my bounder with a MaxxAire which I would recommend because on my model the fan blade/motor is outside and pointed down so you can run it in the rain, don't need one of those rain sensor things that fail. I just removed the old tiny fan blade, used the two wires for the new fan, and left the old motor there.
do not be in the bath with the door closed, have the maxaire on exhaust on high speed and flush the potty. if you do, your black tank will vent thru the bath, right past your nose.

I replaced the cheap push button fan in the bathroom with a Fantastic Fan when it started to act up a bit... I would do it again and I would only run Fantasic Fans if possible.

We went with Shurflo....same concept, with the remote control for temp, fans, and etc. One in the rear kitchen exhales, and one in the front bedroom inhales. Real nice cross ventilation. We left the fart fan stock and just use it for the intended purpose.
