... why would anyone want to remove the emblems from any of the brands(?)

Less weight, and better aerodynamics!

Honestly, I have thought about removing some of my emblems too, it's a much cleaner look. Plus, it'd be cool to keep (some) folks guessing what I drive. I have always hated the "V8" emblem on my side doors, like it's not obvious when I roar by slow traffic what's under the hood!

I removed all my decals and the best and only product I would use is a 3M adhesive removal wheel. They remind me of a low speed white eraiser wheel you use on a cordless drill. They can be found at paint and body shop supply stores. It won't burn the paint and leaves no residue. Google "debadging a vheicle" and you'll find it's what most of the pro's will use.

I use fishing line, followed up by my thumb in direct hot sun, or with a hair dryer. A little M.E.K. to finish it off. Make sure to clean, polish and wax the area afterwards. I like the emblems on my beer fridge much more than on my trucks.

Makes me cringe at the thought of ripping and peeling things off my beautiful truck.

Use "nail Polish remover" I have tried many different products and it works the best by far.

as coolcamp mentioned this pinstripe wheelis the easiest,it will take longer to put the wheel in the drill then it will to remove the glue,I work in a body shop and that's all we use and there are cheaper brands available.

Be sure and stop at every fuel station so you can really act the part!

Oh, and if you are going for a 2003 to 2007 F450 look, stop on the side of the road with the hood up, then they will swear it's a Ford!

I can "fun rib" too!
