My coachman Micro came with a propane quick connect on the side for a grill. Coachman does not provide a hose, and trying to find a hose or adaptor was proving to be impossible. NO ONE has a quick connect to a disposable bottle regulator in the Orlando area. Finally I found the proper hose at http://www.mbsturgis.com/Camping%20Stoves.htm and it was only $20 for a 5' hose or $24 for a 10'. Just wanted to post this because I have gone crazy for 2 days looking and maybe this will help someone else find what they need.

So you're trying to fill a disposable bottle from your on board propane connection?

i think what he is trying to do is use the quick connect to feed to a stove or grill that is usually used with the small disposable bottles. You know, like the newer Coleman stoves use.

I assume your Coachmen Micro is the same as mine in this regard: you will find that the low-pressure propane supplied from that quick-connect fitting will not work to fuel an "standard" unit, either grill, lantern, or heater, which requires a high-pressure fuel tank or hose. You may have succeeded in plumbing a highly creative and completely non-functional Rube Goldberg setup here.
The special gas grill that connection is supposed to feed is designed for the purpose. It won't work with a high-pressure feed.
But hey, best of luck with it, and if you get it working be sure to let us know how.

Sorry but as Naturist stated. A Coleman propane product will not work from your disconnect on the TT It is regulated pressure fed from the 2 stage regulator at your tanks. see if you can send it back, if so what I would suggest would be A separate Propane tank and the hose that fits it then connects to the regulator for the grill you are using.
We carry A 11 LB tank to run our Roadtrip grills and it works great. sure is cheaper than the small cylinders.

My dad run into the same thing with his motorhome so he moved the fitting to before the regulator. You can't go through 2 regulators and make it work. I know it would be a little more work but you could install a tee and a small pipe before the regulator on your trailer and still use the part you bought. When I did mine I got a coleman road trip XLE grill and removed the regulator that came with the grill and hooked the hose straight to the grill.
