Does anyone know of anyplace to get or know of any add on storage compartments that would bolt on under a TT between the frame and the outside edge of the TT. It would be a handy place to add storage for things like the sewer & water stuff, leveling items, air compressor type stuff. Basically like adding class A style basement storage to a TT.

Do you have the clearance? What about going over driveways and slopes like into fuel stations?
Maybe I'm not picturing what you are proposing.

I was toying with the same idea to use to slide-in my blue tote-tank.
We are speaking of behind the skirt that continues past the floor line. I have about 11" before the bottom of the frame.
I'll be watching for some ideas as well.

The clearance would basically be the same as the frame. I am talking about the space under the belly of a TT from the outside edge in to the frame. Even if a TT has an enclosed underbelly, this "outer" underbelly is mostly unused and easily accessible. They make undercarriage tool/storage boxes for flatbed pickups and semis, but they would be to tall.

What color would you like? Wood, fiberglass, or metal? How deep, long and high? Graphics or plain. You can have anything you want for a price!
But more seriously, good idea. I think I'd try to keep them toward the wheels and therefore away from the ends. I think they'd suffer fewer contact damage problems there.
If doing a deluxe job they could have lighting and/or drawers. One problem is frames are not very high. But if the TT was far enough from the ground you could perhaps go 5 or 6" in height.

I have thought about the same thing. I have found some things that looked like they would work (designed for a truck) but the prices was out of my line $500+ made in stainless steel. Some type of poly material would be fine, and a better $, but I have not found any.

I am going to see if I can find some type of blown/molded-plastic bins that I can mate-up with a radius corner baggage compartment door and sandwich the skirt between the two. With the correct bracing, as well as a support in the rear to the frame or floor, it should work for the storage lighter items.
Match the trailer paint color and we should be good to go.

Unfortunately I don't have pictures but I built a couple for my old TT. I used some pressure treated 1x4's and built 2 boxes within the frame rails. I used one box to hold the weight bars from the hitch and the other to hold some small boards to put under the tongue jack and stabilizers. I painted them to match the frame and installed barrel style locks to keep everything secure. Like a previous poster stated, I mounted them up front to reduce the chance of them hitting the ground. These were not weather proof, but for what I wanted they did the job and were inexpensive to build.

Make sure to let the rest of us know if you find something that works. That is the same thing I'd like to do.
