Don't forget to snug the 4 bolts on your roof AC unit. I had a similar leak on my 94 Four Winds and that was the problem. Should be something to add to your regular maintenance for checking every couple of years.

I would also suspect the 'seam' between the front cap and the rubber roof. Mine was leaking there, I found it after I removed the plastic joint that covers that seam. It was about a 1/4 in 'gap' between the front cap and the rubber. The factory 'covered' it up with the plastic strip and caulked it 'several' times. I found rotted wood at that seam joint and had to replace it. Now have it covered with eternabond and so far no more leaking in that area.
Dave I am convinced on any MH over 2 days old one should just go ahead and run EternaBond from one side to the other side over those plastic strips at the end caps since it is good for 18-35 years they state.
I think we would have sold our MH had it not been for EternaBond.

Ours us rubber but I think since it is a joint I would do any type roof with a joint. No leaks makes for a happy RV and RV'er.

batts - a pressure test will find lots of leaks. But there are likely many not found by the test. These are capillary leaks.
For example, you may do the test and only find bubbles at seams or ac units. These are obvious big leaks.
But there may be cracks in the roof where air will not bubble out because the water is wicked into these cracks and across the roof to some other location and finally drip out.
These can be found with an infrared camera and/or a moisture meter - if the operator knows what they are doing.

Roof seam is from fiberglass to aluminum. Since the skin is structural, it does not stress and shift while moving down the road. The joint is assembled wet, not caulked after assembly. That type of joint will never ever leak. Yes the windows and vents needs attention, but never the seams, even in the rigs that are 37 years old don't leak.

Sealtech was a waste of money for us. We had a leak in the slide that didn't show up and they messed up our vent trying to use their machine.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the information.
Popular opinion seems to start at the markers.
How would you guys suggest I seal them?
Regards,
Mark

I had to do some exploring for a leak on an old Class C. I discovered that a leak around the antenna was showing as a drip in the kitchen. Yes, leaks do travel. But, as stated already check around the marker lights, the roof interfaces to the front cap and the walls, and the corners.
