May God be with you thru all the doctors are going to put you thru. But be of good faith because they have your best interest at heart. Even if sometimes they seem heartless.

PLEASE take a tape recorder with you ever time you see a medical person. They will explain things fully but you won't remember 80% of what they said. One of the best cancer docs I ever worked with used to give people a small recorder and insisted they tape everything. Saved him from many phone calls and made for better informed patients.

I will keep you in my prayer

God Bless

Bette

Bette has it exactly right here! Our favorite doctor was the one that told us to bring a dictaphone so we could record what he said to us. I transcribed the tape and e-mailed it to friends and family, because they had as many questions as we did, and that saved a LOT of time and energy for everyone.

Prayers for you and your doctors, family and caregivers are flowing from the Miks in Wisconsin!

Julie

I am so sorry. You totally have my prayers and good thoughts. And PLEASE listen to those that have told you to record the doctors. I am setting here to night trying to remember what the doctor told us today.

My mom is a 7 1/2 yr breast C survivor and she will soon be 85 yrs old. She never gave up, even though she now says she wanted to so many times, but for my sister and I she kept fighting.

We have so many people praying for DH, I will add you to those prayer chains if it is ok with you.

Keep your chin up!!!! God Bless you and your family.
