Are any of you using the integrated brake controller that comes factory in the 250 and 350s? How do they work out for you? I may end up with one and am wondering if I should keep my P-3 or not.

From everything I have read, that controller works great! I would keep the P3, since you already have it, for a spare in case something goes wrong with the built in one.

I have pulled 3000 to 13,000k with my 07 F-350 PSD work truck.

The integrated brake controller works GREAT!

Easy to adjust and doesn't jerk when stopping.

I often have to apply the brakes manually due to the situations I find myself in and the integrated is much easier to apply.

I have a 2008 F-350 with the integrated brake controller and it is very good. At first I was waiting for a bit of a 'grab' as with the Prodigy but soon learned that it was working well just much smoother than the Prodigy. I have played around a bit with the gain and fine 8.5 to 9 works best. Highly recommend the integrated brake controller. I tow a 36 ft Mobile Suites 5er.

At first I was a little leery of mine, but after using it a few trips I'm sold, it works great. Every bit as good as my Prodigy.

I have an 05 F450 with it. It did take a little getting used to as other have said, you can't really feel it. I also run mine near the top 9.0. Also if you are looking at a used one built prior to 3/05, they were made NOT to work under 15 MPH, even while applying manually. Ford will change it out if you complain the right way, I know, I did it.

Thanks all, I`m heading to my dealer tomorrow to get some hard numbers on 250s and possibly 350s. I think the controller comes with all they have available but I may keep mine anyhow. They sure aren`t going to give me anything on trade. Anybody have some big slices of bread for a depreciation sandwich? I`m taking a bar of soap `cause I`m sure I`ll be taking a bath on this deal.

Good luck at the dealer's !! The dealer there in Dillsburg always has some real 'purty trucks on their lot every time I drive by there.

As for the bath...you'll soon forget it when you tow that TT down the road with the new SD !!

Re: dealer in Dillsburg. For some reason they don`t want to deal with me. I contacted them early on when I got this truck and they never got back to me. No e-mails, no phone calls, nothing. And when I tell you I`m in their back yard, I mean literally.

I have a great dealer at Hoffman in H-burg. They are the leader in volume since Francis shut down. They were the only ones who stock my current spec`d vehicle for their lot. Everyone else had to special order it. Some dealers hear you have X-plan and they don`t want to deal with you.
