The TOW last year in June was a piece of cake. Certainly nothing to worry about. Drive it and enjoy it. If the other couple you're traveling with don't want to go, let them take an alternate route and meet up with them.

We did the top of the world five years ago. Canadian side was as beautiful as everyone says. The us side was so bad I wanted to linch the commissioner of roads. The dust got into everything and the oncoming water trucks were rolling so fast you felt like they were going to run you off. We had to do a through cleaning in the coach as the dust crept in from the compartments below. The mounties on the canadian side refrained from any comments so that should have been a give away.\
