We have a 40 ft. Newmar and would like to know witch park we should go to for all hook ups and as close as we can to the big trees, that is very nice spot.

Here is our 40 footer "camped" at Kaweah Park Resort in Three Rivers. We used this campground to visit Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks in our tow car. See more photos here.

I don't think any in the park have hookups. It's been years since I was there so somebody with more current info will chime in I'm sure.

If I remember right CA 180 is the best road in for your sized rig.
