For the year since we brought it home, I've wished my Rage'n had a ladder up the front instead of the removable one that hangs on the side. Camping World carries one that is designed to fit on a "straight" side or rear of an RV, but I wasn't sure how to get it to fit on my molded fiberglass front cap.
Then one day at work, we had one that was damaged and missing some parts. I bought it for $25 and figured I'd give it a try. If it didn't work, I wasn't risking much.
With a little cutting and altering, here's how it came out -

I can get to it with my left foot on the 5-gal bucket, right foot on the trailer tongue, and left foot to the bottom rung on the ladder.
Shortened the middle set of legs to accommodate the curve of the front cap.

At the top, I fastened a piece of solid walnut to the roof to support the brackets. This is solid as a rock.

This makes quick and easy access to the roof, without messing with the ol' side hanger.

Looks good. Does the middle supports mount to something solid? I know my front cap is flimsy.

Just screwed to the fiberglass, but I did try to locate the stanchions where it felt the most solid. Once the whole thing is assembled as a unit, it's very solid with no flexing at any of the contact points.
Note: After I posted these pics, I noticed that the one side appears to be a little higher than the other, partly because the roof is higher in the center and slopes off to the gutter. This morning I went out and cut that side down about 3/4 inch.
This stuff's really easy to work with using a simple pipe cutter.

Wherever I had to make a connection, I sleeved it with copper pipe and used all stainless fasteners.
There, that looks better.
