Well today is the day!! I got the call yesterday to come in today and pick her up. I am taking delivery of a F 350 SRW CC SB 4x4 KR V10 4:30 gear ratio. Black and Camel 2 tone..

I will post some pictures when i get a chance. I have not had a gasser in a long time, but i am pretty confident this motor is a good one, due to how many motor homes are running around out there with this engine.

I have the same truck but in long box and dually. You will ove the V10
it is very quiet and rides like a dream. 430 rearend will give you tons of torque. Enjoy. I have the white with camel leather lariat with nav.

Jim, have you towed with your '08 yet. I've got a F250 like yours that has no power until 2500 rpm. Just a short test tow with the 5er but not too happy so far.

Yes I have a it tows like a dream. I am towing a 12000lb northshore 5th wheel. I can almost whisper to my wife while driving down the highway. The built in brake controller works real nice too. Gas mileage is 12mpg highway towing at 53mph. As for power, It takes off from the start a little slower than my 250 did but I waas only towing a 8000lb 5ver then. I am very happy with it and would highly reommend the ford F350 V10 and 430 gears. Enjoy

Wow. Mine is a F250, CC, LB, with the auto tranny and 4.30 gears. It seldom makes 12 mpg empty, but that's at 70-75 mph. Towed a small aluminum trailer wit 2 dirt bikes and a quad, less than 2000 lb. At 65 mph on flat in OD would not accelerate without a downshift. It was at dealers yesterday. They said it was normal.

Well that dont sound so promissing, I have not yet towed with it, but i will let you know. I would think that the 4:30 gears would hold O/D no promblem.
