Hello everyone. I have been trying to post an update on Neely for a couple of days now. I could not get it to go through. I see others are having this problem also. I am now trying one of the portals another poster recommended. I hope this works! Neely Jean is doing great. It is amazing how quickly she can run around on 3 legs. She is trying to keep up with her little sister Wheezer. She tires easily and will not place her sore leg down. I have continued her pain meds and hopefully she will begin to exercise her sore leg soon. The vet said it was important to get her to do that. She will see him tomorrow for a checkup. Thanks so much for asking and keeping Neely in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for letting us keep up to date!! Just sounds like she is wanting you to carry her around!! I have seen dogs that will limp around when the owners are looking. I had a lab that had back discs in his back and was limited, but he would always limp worse when he got in trouble!! Here's hoping Neely Jean begins to use that leg soon.

Post-op day 12. Neely Jean is beginning to touch her foot to the floor when she is walking. HURRAY!
