We have the clone of the Little Giant that Home Depot carries, I believe it is called The Gorilla Ladder. They named it well, it takes a gorilla to get it in in and out of the basement if the slides are open. (it weighs 39 pounds)

7'(can reach to roof line)standard fiberglas(have had two aluminum ladders collapse-with my 170 lb. weight)step ladder stores in the garage and a 3' stores in the garage. Both are free standing allowing for no contact with the coach.

Louisiana Platform Step Ladder purchased from Grainger's. When I'm off the ground, I want a secure, safe working area. Both hands free to do the job without hanging on for dear life. I have it painted to match our MH and have it attached to the rear ladder.

I have just a standard 6 ft aluminum light weight ladder that lays flat in the basement. For as little as I use it, it works fine. I have the Prompt Sun Shades, so I don't need a ladder there, also use an extended handle bug scrubber/ squeegee to wash the windows and windshield so no ladder needed there. I have only pulled the ladder out of the basement once in 35,000 miles.

Just got the single sided version of the one Buck62 mentioned above. Even in our smaller basement fits diagonally. Our old four footer(from ClassC) not tall enough for front screens on new ClassA. Seems good and solid and I'm not really much of a ladder person.

We fulltime and the rig has no ladder built on so we too chose the 12' telescoping ladder so I can get up on the roof the few times I may need to. I am very pleased with the foldup size, weight and versatility.

I had a 6 ft.CW ladder for years. If your coach is over 12 ft., I'd, for sure, get the 7 ft. fold-up. I almost killed myself trying to reach stuff with the 6-footer.
