We went to a CG with a 16' TT during the off season, no problem. We went back 2 years later in the snowbird season and were told our rig was too small. The woman on the phone swore that there was no way we could have stayed there before.

Funny you say that......
We were at a campground a few years back and were told our 25TT was too small for the sites that were available. Now check this out.......the person behind me smiled and said, let me try this...he said he had an airstreem and before he could say what site the woman gave him a site....I walk outside...and he has a 19' Bambi....
We laughed.
No biggy....as we went down the road and grabbed another campground....but just go to show you .......its all *%#!

Now that we are thinking of going seasonal we have run into this a couple of times. Seems some private CG have an age limit on new seasonal TT's. Ten years or newer and if you let things get too delapitated they give you notice to improve things or move out. One CG we really liked until we read all their rules. Seems they would only allow new seasonal units that they sold.

Anyone think that this may be a case of discrimination?? Hooray for the old air-cooled VW's. Owned several "Bugs" and a "Bus"! GLC! ! ! I've worked on them, too! I have seen in the last several years CG's that were Class A motorhomes O N L Y ! ! ! No other type of campers- - period! Ahhhhhhhh, the times change and everybody wants the almight $$$$, but want to discriminate at the same time. Keep praying, folks, that all of this will change for the better!
Have a good day today and a better one tomorrow!
