MGO BLUE, You could not be more on target. Yes, I am dealing with Marks RV. I still do not understand why they would give Marks RV the dealership and not North Trail. North Trail is a Spartan authorized technician. I have been thoroughly impressed by their professionalism & competence. Unfortunately, I did not want any of their products. I only wanted Tiffin. Lazy Days was my only other option, but they were too far away for service. Honestly, I was not too sold on them either.

The '08, cause you don't have the depreciation out the door. You already had that.

Just be glad you bought a Tiffin and not some other brand, as I have never heard of any other brand doing this for a disgruntled customer. MY hat is off to Tiffin. Good Luck, Ronnie

penpal, I have friends in your area who tell me that "Our Family RV Center" in North Fort Myers is a first-rate service facility regardless of manufacturer. If you are unhappy with the Tiffin dealers in your area (I have seen nothing to suggest that either Marks or Lazy Days has a great reputation for service), TMH will authorize warranty work at a place such as Our Family RV Center.

Were I in your situation, I would confirm that arrangement with TMH and check out the service reputation of Our Family. If all seems to be as I have suggested, I would concentrate on getting the best possible price on the '08 or '09 (Lazy Days?) and then letting Our Family become your service facility.

It is our intention to spend much of the winter in the Fort Myers area when we retire. As Tiffin owners, we will avoid both Marks and Lazy Days and contact Our Family for service ... this is on the basis of recommendations from two friends, one of whom owns a Tiffin 42-foot Phaeton and the other a 43-foot Newmar Essex.

Bill, Thanks for your information regarding Our Family RV Center. I will certainly use them for service in the future.

I would go with the 09. Think about the technology changes in the last two years in TV's, etc. Plus new tires, less age on the various engine and chassis fluids and weathering on coach that may have been sitting outside as well. All of this assumes the floor plan works for both of you.

Good luck. Let us know your choice.

I do not have any opinions on which to choose. I do know that I would love to own an Allegro Bus!
