Hmmmmm... Where did my post go???
Oh well, I'll repeat myself.
I intend on firing up my Masterbuilt 7-in-1 smoker filled with hickory chunks and slap my USDA Select New York Strip Steaks on the grill. My contribution to global warming? Immeasurable.
Here's a picture of my soon to be smokin' smoker!

And bow practice went pretty good this morning.

Don't see anyone geographically here so what's your problem? it isn't going to affect you. Just like gobal warming doesn't seem to be affecting you
and no..I don't go to Seattle to have beach BONFIRES either. Not my idea of a great camping place, besides..I like campfires better.
No I have not been to Seattle, but some of this stuff is like a virus and spreads to other communities. It is a much smaller world when messages and ideas can be passed in milliseconds. Global warming has become a multi trillion business not unlike some of those dot com companies back in 2000-2002 that were nothing but hot air, and some of those startups originated in the State of Washington, and affected everyone globally.

Well said, the charts that Al Gore likes to show the connection between CO2 and Temperature change always has the two split and the eye has to make the connection. When overlayed, it always shows that CO2 increase follows temperature increase, not the temperature increasing after CO2 increases.

Just wondering where the 'camp' fires are banned. We live in Auburn and have camped all over WA. state and haven't run into this problem.

I'm sorry to report that it has already started... King County, in which Seattle is located, banned campfires a couple of years ago. Typically, fines start at $2,000 with a max fine of $13,000. There is also a $300 fine for campground owners if they fail to report a camper. Exceptions are given to State and Federal Campgrounds. Just say thanks to the "Greenies"

Like I said, CO2 emissions causing global warming is only a theory. It could be a natural occurrence. This data would indicate a natural occurrence. Thanks for the data!

Just say thanks to the "Greenies" The ban is not all over Washington. Check out the King County Fire District Regulations on line for more information. The regulations get more restrictive during the summer and winter. I first ran into the ban at the KOA in Kent. And then other private campgrounds in King County. Is Auburn in King or Pierce County?

Auburn is King Co. Thanks for the info, I'll go look. I was thinking maybe it's an air quality thing, smog or something. 5 years ago at Dash Point St. Park, no fires unless they were small and for cooking. We kept a hot dog on a stick near by !!!!
