Do they make anything for (additional stabilization)a TT that will keep it from rocking when the kids are playing inside? It seems no matter how level the TT is or how supported the 4 stabilizer jacks are it always seems to rock slightly when theres alot of movement inside. thanks

It doesn't sound like stabilization for your TT is the issue. Before you or anyone else starts the flaming, we raised four kids, did the camping thing, first in tents and then in an RV. Inside play was for rainy days and consisted of board games, charades, reading, puzzles and card games. The RV was not a place for hide and seek, tag, bed bouncing, etc.

ok well, I also have 4 kids 2 to 9 yrs, and when its gets over 100 degrees sometimes we do have to play inside as well as mosquito issues at night, however the TT rocks sometimes just from normal walking around.

We use RotoChoks that fit between the tires... they helps a lot. Also, there are more eleborate systems like JT Stabilizers.

If you use the SEARCH you'll get a lot of ideas.

Like GeeksRus, I switched to RotoChoks and they made a world of difference in the stability of the trailer. We're rock solid now. I used the BAL chocks before and the RotoChoks are MUCH better.

There have been many posts latley about adding another pair of scizzor jacks as center on the TT as possible and it helping with rocking and movement. Also I know from my experiance that good choks like the RotoChoks between the tires help alot also. Let them kids be kids and let them have fun. I have 3 of my own and I that life would be miserable if they were not allowed to move around and had to sit and not move like Mr. Camper's kids. Just have fun and make memories for them.

I assume you're using wheel chocks (and using them properly) so you MAY be experiencing suspension bounce. Longer trailers often have stab jacks located at the 4 corners but the frame flexes slightly at the middle and the softly sprung trailers often get a little bounce from the suspension. This can be mitigated pretty well by adding a 3rd set of stab jacks close to the axles. As a cheep trial you can add a couple of screw adjustable jack stands under the frame near the axles to see how well they work before investing in a 3rd set of stabs.

We picked up some extra stablizer jacks at local walmart...
sometimes we need to use them and sometimes don't, depends on how far the
scissors jacks are down...seems to have motion in the camper when the scissor jacks are stretched out...then we use the extra jacks.

I put a third set of scissor jacks in front of the wheels and it helped alot. I also put the Bal stabilizing bars on the four corners. I have no movement from front to back just alittle side to side. I waiting to pick up another set of Bal stabilizing bars to stop the side to side movement. The Bal are about 70.00 a pair, while the JT strongarm are 330.00 for 6 bars and camping world

My trailer is only a single axle so I don't know if it will help with a tandem... I find that the tighter I can get the chocks around the wheel the better. This limits the front and back movent. The way the stab jacks are set up appears to be really helpfull for up and down movement only.

I get myself parked where I want to be and place chocks behind the wheels. I then have the DW backup a hair to put weight on them while I place chocks in front of the wheels. When she puts it in Park it rolls forward just enough to pinch the chocks in place securely. (I usually have to kick and cuss to get them out at the end of the weekend.)

It looks like the rotochocks would have the same effect on a tandem setup.
