The white power is probably Ant powder. If you see us, it is. We did not realize the problem until one day while camping in Mississippi, we noticed a LOT of ants in the walls and dining table. found them coming up our power cord, down the side of the MH, and in around a window. We have used ant powder at campsites ever since. In the lower Tennessee area especially, look our for fire ant nest or mounds around the camping pads. If you find one, a good dose of fire ant powder will take care of it immediately, helping you and other that follow.

Around our rig it's Comet. Keeps all the creepy crawlys away. They will not cross that line at all. I even sprinkle a little down at home for a quick fix until I can get a good coat of spray down.

So THATS why the Packers are always running back and forth through our fiver! Now I know what to do about it. Thanks to all who responded. Have never had an ant problem...but the Packers have been killing us!

I use seven dust, a white powder. I sprinkle it around any ant hill I find and they track it back into the hill. I have also used a turkey baster to squirt it into holes where bees start a hive. The stuff has been around for years to sprinkle on garden plants. Don't tell the EPA that it works.

Please use Sevin insecticide very sparingly. It is toxic to mammals and fish as well as beneficial insects like those bees that are essential for pollinating many of our crops and flowers. I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

Boric Acid is the generic name for the main ingredient in anti Ant-Powder. You can buy the stuff at hardware stores.
Borax, the brand name cleaner, is made from the Salt of Boric Acid and is probably even less expensive than the same powder repackaged as Ant-Powder.
Over the years I have seen other powdered cleansers used in the same way. Bon Ami, Comet, Ajax, Bartender's Friend, and even store brands. They all seem to work.

My stuff is from Ortho and is NOT there to keep ants or other critters away. It is there to Kill Them. I'm from Texas and I believe in the death penalty. No offence folks, but any fish that tries to get in my camper is obviously up to no good.
Fun is that stuff that happens in between mistakes.
