Anyone have current info on this CG? Past reviews blast it on rvparkreviews.com. Not many current reviews. It's near an airport and railroad and not in a great neighborhood, but I normally love KOA's. I'll be pulling a 30' TT w/ one slide and big awning.

We stayed at Bay Shore Estates when traveling through last Oct. it seemed nice enough lots of trees clean, friendly, quite FH park. That said it was very large and because of the time of year there were only about 3 or 4 motorhomes in the park. We only stayed overnight but would stop again. I did not find the area to be bad or dangerous. Have fun

If you are going to Cedar Point, you should stay on site at the Cedar Point campground. Yes it is expensive, but the benefits are well worth the money and will greatly enhance your Cedar Point experience.

I think we stayed there 3 years ago when we went to Cedar Point. It was a nice place but the train drove us out a day early. The train blasts it's horn at a crossing about 3/4 of a mile from the campground.
We left in the afternoon, after a full day at Cedar Point. We were going to leave early in the morning but I knew we wouldn't get a good night sleep. We slept better at a truck stop that night. Maybe the other side of the campground would have been quieter.

I did not think it was that bad but I love the sounds of the trains, if there over the weekend they get a very large amount of a younger crowds in tents going to Cedar Point and they like to party a good bit. They come here as you can not tent camp @ Cedar Point, it justs gets very busy and a bit loud, thru the week I didn't think it was bad.

We're staying at East Harbor State Park in August when we go to Cedar Point. This park even has some full hookups but we chose just an electric site because it was in a better area that we like. We just picked a site close to a water spigot and refill when we need to. We've never driven to Cedar Point from this park before but I would bet that it's probably within a 30 minute drive. This is ok for us since we will be in the area for 7 days and our camping experience is more important than the closeness of the amusement park! Our last visit to East Harbor we enjoyed very much and are looking forward to going this August!!
God Bless and Happy Camping!!!

We stayed a Bayshore Estates last July. We just drove to Cedar Point. We would stay there again. I do not remember any train noise. We stayed up near the pool area.

We stayed there a couple of years ago and I don't remember the train noise either. I don't remember specifics, but I do remember that it was a nice campground and we would return again.
