Well, the men can to look at the A/C. There were some burnt wires in the control panel. Fixed them and now there is Cold air!!!

Yeeeesssss

No new unit needed, thank goodness.

It is great that you have the A/C working but.... Were there any thoughts or suggestions as to what caused the wires to get burned up? Could happen again unless the original issue was identified and corrected.

He said the most likely cause was a low voltage at some point. I'm thinking it was with the generator running when we went to Mineral Wells. He also said it just sometimes happens for no known reason ( the wire connectors, old age, etc.) Voltage comming from the house was ok, so we'll concentrate on the generator next.

There is a place that works on them not far from here. I'll be contacting them for a tune up / voltage check.

Sorry everyone who had not seen the previous post. Just a senior moment I guess.
