just cut the red wire short, and tape it safe, on both ends.
DO NOT wire 220v to your camper.
the black is hot, 120 v
the white neutral
the green is ground

Quote: 4 pin male setup to the camper 3 prong female What?
30 amp RV service is 120 volts, and the 30 amp RV cord has a 3-prong male plug. The receptacle and plug are NEMA TT-30. One leg is 120 volt hot, one leg is neutral, and one leg is ground.

Ahhh Ok thanks for that info guys. Is there and danger of hitting the 120v/220v switch on my generator when I have the twist lock plug in ? Im not sure what the point of the twist lock 30amp outlet is for?
Thanks for clearing up the 220v thing. I was wondering if the camper inverter switched something inside to down power the 220v to 120v
thanks again,

Marinco makes the connectors you are looking for. They have an RV conversion kit that allows you to remove the hardwired RV power cord and install a male 30A 125V twist-lock fitting on the side of the RV. I have it on mine.

Ok if I wire it like this is there any danger of me bumping the 120v/220v switch while the generator is running and frying the camper? or is this impossable with out having the red wire connected?
I have the pepboys 3500 watt power pro.
