Anyone out there going to be at the NASCAR race next week in Michigan. I am staying at Juniper Hills. Only problem is, I am leaving the MH in Florida. Just to expensive with gas cost this year. We have been going for 10 years and this is the first that I will ruffing it in a tent. Anyone else having the same issue with gas going to NASCAR races?

We are going. It will be our first Nascar race ever. We are camping in a campground on turn 3. (forgot the name) We are very excited! Gordon has been waiting all year to get his first win this season at this race track just for me. ha ha. ( My husband definitely doesn't agree with me on this point.)

I'll be in the infield at Daytona for the 400 in July. I'll still do the 2 Daytona races and Homestead. Talladaga and Atlanta may be off the table this year...

We took the TT up the last two years and had a blast! We would head up this year, but that week was the only available week for us to host camp at out favorite CG, so that's what we did! Have fun!

We were there, last year, for the August race. We had fun, got stuck in the mud, wrecker pulled us out. Tent camping is REAL camping, I know you will have fun.

we are going to michigan. Staying at tree farm outside turn 3. First time camping at michigan. Looking to have fun but hopefully this campground isnt too rowdy.

go9car - I have been going to Michigan for many years now. If you are staying in one of the campgrounds that MIS maintains, it shouldn't be to roudy. All campgrounds do have a certain amount of roudiness during NASCAR week. We are really hoping for some decent weather. the last few years have been extremely hot. Only one rain out. I heard that it was suppose to be in the 80's with a chance of rain on Sunday. This will be the first time that we have done this in a tent. Every year, we have been in a MH (just to expensive to drive from Florida this year).
