Don't yell at me! Business is slow here and Pulsar is bored and steaming here in NC so its time to bring up an old topic and see if there have been any new developments: sending hologram off of old MH so I can get one for the new MH. Here's what I know:

-There's a form that I believe Turtle-Toad has that you send to DF along with the old 10 year hologram, old paper work, and anything I have that shows I traded in the MH and no longer own it. Per Chris, these should be DHL/FedEx so that you have proof.

(I'm not going to do the tape the old one on the windshield etc. I'm not driving 1,000 miles and get turned back and inside of a jail is not in my itinerary.)

Have I got this right? Is the form on here somewhere...I checked Turtle's FAQ but didn't see it...maybe I just missed it. Does the form show an address that DHL/FedEx will deliver to?

Thanks in advance. Steve

On Edit: just noticed this on the Banjercito website in the section for RV's (this is a cut and paste). I never heard of a "Return Certificate" for the MH. They scrapped the hologram off the Jeep TOAD and I have that receipt...they just looked at the MH and waved me on. It looked like they had remote scanners set up because when I drove in they waved me on until I pointed to the TOAD, then they stopped me.

(Quote)5. Return to your country of origin. Please make sure to register the return of your vehicle when crossing the border.

Make sure to visit any BANJERCITO module located at the border crossing when you are leaving Mexico. Present your motor home, it’s accessories and the declared equipments together with the Temporary Import Permit in order to register the vehicle as having returned to the country of origin. BANJERCITO will issue a return certificate.

It is very important that you complete the vehicle return operation. If you don’t complete this step, Mexican authorities will assume that your motor home remains in Mexico, which can cause problems in the future. The vehicle is considered returned, when you physically present the vehicle at the border module and the authorities validate the return from Mexico. (End quote)

Steve,
I believe it was Chris(gtla911) that posted the return information and form. I remember the post had all the information you needed. Moisheh will be in the same boat, with his new Monaco Dynasty, so you might also give him a PM. Between those two, you will get what you need.

The Bounder was for sale on the Diesel_Bounder forum. He also still has the Bird and only 2 bays in his garage, so something has to go and it won't be the Bird or the new Dynasty. LOL

Chris, I sent you my email via a PM. Thanks! Would be nice though to get this form as a sticky if Pulsar can help with that? Steve

OK: Why can't I have 3 motorhomes?? The Bounder is for sale. It did not have a hologram as we do not take it outside the free zone.

Wow, looks like I had better keep working. I would like a motorhome for casual, formal and work .

As an immigrant it will be hard for me to catch up!
