We have 3 xpens that we setup for our 2 Corgis. They have never challenged the fence, 1 is 24" and 2 of them are the 30". They're great for when both my parents and in-laws come camping with us so we don't have 5 leashes strung all over the place. We just put all the dogs in the xpen.

I bought one of those 'over the spare made for a MH bumper' bike racks. Although I mounted it to the right of the tires.
That's where all my ex pens go! That way they are 'not' inside my MH bays, and I don't have to hose them down everytime I pack up to go.(The boys do tend to water them!)

I went with a front-bumper mount xpen carrier for our rig. I didn't like the idea of adding even more weight on the rear axle but the pens had to be easily accessible. We have 3 xpens on the carrier right now (2 for the "dog yard" and one for use under our ringside tent) but could fit a 4th one on there.
