Saw this in an outdoor magazine:

C.A.M.P. Technologies

The video shows setup. Cool to watch, but too pricey for my wallet.

I suppose there is room for another camping trailer in the market, but you could buy a nice traditional RV for the cost of this tent trailer.

"dear Magic 8-ball. Will a company be successful if it tries to sell a large tent as an RV and charge twice what a popup camper would cost?"

answer: outlook not good

this company will be lucky to sell 100. I think they're nuts. What is their target market?

Here are some more, for the most adventuresome amongst us, but there is obviousily a market for these things! I'm too spoiled, and these things are for the younger crowd anyway!

Believe it or not this is pretty standard for Britsh/European tent campers. Our hard tops are a rarity over there.
The price is a reflection of devaluation of the dollar against the Euro. Imports have almost doubled in price over the last three years.

My major complaints about the GB/Euro types is most do not have a tent floor or are sealed well against insects. Getting off the bare ground and being bug less were two of my reasons for going to a PU from a tent years ago.

I know why the price must be so high I see they are Military ready.
Only the government would pay that much for a tent.

Wow, this is a large Eazy up Tent that's way overpriced.

A nice setup I'd consider would be this 12' x 20' Cabelas $900 tent 4 $60 cots, 4 $15 tent chairs, $60 eating table, $2600 cargo trailer, Cabelas $130 camp kitchen with sink, $50 coleman stove, $500 portable Ac/Dc refrigerator, $1000 generator, and a couple of $50 20 lbs propane tanks.

All this for under $6000. You'd have everything this trailer has except about $19000 left in your wallet and an easier setup. Hek, you could use the kitchen and eat in the cargo trailer during bad weather or use the kitchen and eat outside.

$25,000 for a glorified tent is a rip off IMO.

Have a good one.

I got a PU to get off the ground, why would I pay that much to get back on the wet dirt? For that price, I'm getting a trailer.

Not only is it an expensive floor-less tent, but it's HUGE.

You would need to find a flat, wide, and level campsite that you could back the trailer into, and still accommodate the large tent.

I can't think of a State or National campground, (or RVParks for that matter, not that you would use it at an RVPark), that will work with that type of setup. It's great for boondocking, (if you can find a wide, flat, level site).
