I am new to this and I have never had expiernce with this. I think its a pretty simple thing. I just purchased my Antiqua and it has some black water left in it. What do I do?? Can I call a local camp ground and take it there to dump? Do they have water supply there so I can wash out my tank? I purchased one of those things that you hook to a water hose and stick it in the tiolet to rinse tank.

Check with local RV dealers for information on dumping locations. Some may even have one.
Could also check with local truck stops. Many of them, also have RV dumps.
Edit your post with a more specific location and one of our members may be able to help you out.
Not all dump sites will have water available.

Go to a RV dump station, fill up your black tank with water, hook up your sewer line to the dump and pull the valve open. Rinse and repeat.

You might want to try this site to help you find a dump station. And welcome to the RV world!!!

A lot of rest areas have a place where you can dump your tanks. If you are close to one these are usually pretty convenient.

First of all, how much black water is still left in it - your monitoring system should give you an idea. If it's quite a bit - monitoring 1/3 or even a bright lit quarter full light, then I'd find a dump station nearby. Most, if not all, places have a water hose but often the ends are smashed or crooked so you can't always attach your hose to it. We currently have a black tank sprayer built in and visit a dump site with a good hose connection so we don't have a problem but before the black tank built in sprayer and good hose connection, this is what we would do (granted we have an RV pad beside our house to be able to do this in fewer steps) - We'd empty the tank at the dump station. Go home and hookup to our garden hose with the tank sprayer that you stick down the toilet. Then I would empty the black tank by bucket dumping in our laundry room bathroom. I would repeat these steps till the black tank water ran clear. Then I sanitize the bucket. A lot of steps, Yes, but this ensured that the tank was empty. I wouldn't always do this, especially if we were planning another trip soon but did this before winterizing. I would suggest also that you purchase a short connector tube that is clear. You attach this to your tank outlet before connecting your black and gray water sewer hose. This allows you to check when the water is running clear to ensure the tank is empty when you dump at the dump station while spraying down your toilet with your wand.

You could always bite the bullet, buy a Flojet Macerating Pump and run your hose to a convenient sewer clean-out or home toilet.

What you have in your tank may be rv anti-freeze. the previous owner or dealer may have winterized it and it is still that way. Check with the previous owner or your dealer.

My metersays it is 3/4 full. I am not sure if it is from winterizing or not? How much liquid do they normally put in for winteriztion? Either way I found a local campground that charges 10 bucks to dump.

Why not just dump it the next time you go camping? Unless it's going to be a while. Any campground with ele and water hookups will have a dump station and water to flush with. Just my 2 cents.
Is it time to go home already?
