Hello. I know this is a popular campground that does not take reservations. Can anyone describe the campsites ? Are they paved with full-hook ups ? Are the sites right on top of each other ? Are there pull-thru sites ? I cannot locate much information or pictures to view. Any thing would be helpful. Thank you.

The sites at Fun Valley are full hook up. Most of the sites are very close to each other. There is 'parking lot' style camping in the middle and then there are sites in the trees. The sites are not paved. It is very close quarters there, but it is also our family's favortie place - we go in less than a month and can't wait!! They do not have a web site.

Another McKinney-ite headed for Fun Valley??
We are leaving for there this Saturday for 3 weeks for the 5th year in a row. The sites are not paved but are level. And most do not get muddy or stay muddy when it rains. The soil soaks up the water fast.
All interior roads are paved. There is a large open grassy area in the middle with sites where most of the long timers stay. These sites are side by side pull thrus.
At each end of the campground are sites in the trees along the river and/or scattered around the many ponds in the campground. These sites have more space between them. Most of these are back-ins, with a few that are pull thrus.
I believe all sites have full hookups.

Been there once and that was enough for us. Just to much of everthing , people , people and more people and they bell ringing trolley going by every 20 minutes was nuts. However we have several friends that love it there and go back often. When we were there there were over 700 trailers in the campground and I hear it is even bigger now.Oh well I guess I'm not very sociable.
