We have a big class C which I love to death. It's going in for some stupid battery problem, I hope it gets fixed soon but we're burning camping time. Now, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to have a pop-up too. It would be good for trips that we need a vehicle once we got there, good for when the C was too big or in the shop. I'd feel better loaning the kids the pop-up instead of the motorhome. We're taking the C to the dealer for the battery work on Wed. and I know this dealer has some pop-ups (new and used). My husband thinks I'm nuts and says either a pop-up or the C, not both.
Does anyone else have more than one RV?

Way back in the 80's we had a 78 Starcraft...my parents got a great deal on a class C from my uncle. We kept both for about two years...once we had the C, the PUP was used for backyard camping. BUT, once we sold it my mom missed it and still wishes she had one, even though they have a class C that is bought and paid for. They love their C, but hate the fact they have to pack up if they want to go somewhere, so are now looking into a TT.

Seems sort of dumb to have tow RVs and only be able to use one at a time. As far as the need to pack to use the C you must do the same thing for a pop-up. The extra cost of registration and insurance would keep me with one.

My friend has a C and tows a PUP with it. They use it for a "guest room". So they have "2" pieces of camping equipment. I don't see any harm in that at all.
At least it gives you a choice.

I'd love to get a B, B+ or C- to tow our small trailer and use the B on short trips. My DH also thinks it's a stupid idea. He may be right but I still like it.

Would you please send me your Stimulus Payment since, it appears, I need it more than you! Never heard of anyone with TWO RV's that they regularly use.
If you look at TrailManor's you might want to get rid of the `C'.

This is funny, for the 1st time last season we had a class C back in beside us at the CG towing a PUP. They dropped the PUP off with a couple then drove over to the next site to set up themselves. They travel together, share the fuel price and enjoy each other company along with having there own space. I thought it was a great idea.

The outdoors is a wonderful place to be....

I only owe one, but I do know someone who owns 2 TT. One is much larger than the other. He uses them based upon where he's camping. No, it's not a stupid idea at all. You probably have 2 cars, right? And thats really not a bad idea about having a PUP for a loan-out for the kids either. Next time they want to go camping and want the Motor Home, offer them the PUP. They'll probably turn you down and never ask again. (Good motive for them to buy their own!)
