In August we are going for just over two weeks. We start in Williamsburg (American Heritage CG,3 days) then off to Hatteras North Carolina (Hatteras Sands CG, 7 days) Home for one day and then finish up in Lancaster, PA (Gettysburg Farm CG, 4 days). We put money into the "Feed The Best" fund so we don't have to worry about the fuel cost. A little every week and it adds up quick. Can't wait to leave.
Next month is Yellowstone. Anyone else going to be camping at Fishing Bridge the week of July 20?

Well, we usually to two sep. 2 week trips to somewhere in the Sierras or other northern Cal locations. Well, not THIS year!
We leave June 25th for a 33 day trip across country!
From CA we head through New Mexico and into Texas. We are not planning any stops in this area since it is close enough for a separate trip later on.
Our first stop is at Riverside Resorts at Canyon Lake, Tx for two days. My niece lives in Austin, Tx and will come down.
From there it's on to Melbourne, Fl to stay with my dad a few days. We will do some day trips to Disney World, the space center, & my dad wants to take the kids on a air boat ride. He will come with us as we hhead to the Keys and we will stay 4 days over the 4th of July at Long Key State Park.
We then head north to Warrenton, VA to see my sister. Along the way we will stop and see St. Augustine lighthouse and a stopover in NC. While in VA we will spend a few days in Wash. DC.
We have reservations for 3 days at Assateague State Park. I haven't been there since I was 8 yrs old, and my family has never been there.
From VA we head back west stopping for 2 days at Carter Caves SP Kentucky This will be interesting for me and the boys, but a little tricky for the DW who is claustrophobic
Then, on to Mueller State Park in Co for 3 days of hiking, etc. I have never camped in CO and I'm really looking forward to it.
Looks like another year close to home 1 1/2 hrs. away in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. 8 nights mid July, 4 nights July long-weekend, 8 nights mid August, 4 nights September long-weekend. Still, will be nice to get away from home - sooo looking forward to just relaxing. Looking forward to the day though when time & finances will permit longer travel.
We did the Yuma thing this past Feb. coming back along the Colo. River to Bullhead City then to L.V. Have done short trips every month since. 250 mile week long range. BIG trip coming up in two weeks to Forest City Iowa. You know where all the tornadoes are happening. For the Grand National Rally of Winnebago. It's their 50th anniversary. Let's hope they have a 51st. Then east to the Mississippi and turn right. Head south with a westward jog to avoid St. L.'s city traffic. Then back following the river to Cape Girareau to see DW's relatives. At that point it is either west with a stop in Branson and then North to Hwy 2 or there abouts and west again to home.
