Hi everyone. We are getting ready to leave for a 21 day trip up to Lake Tahoe, to the Northern California Redwoods, and then down the coast to the San Diego area. While we are extremely excited, we are already thinking about next year's trip.

Where do you all go on your summer trips???

We are actually doing a kind of similar trip as yours. We are doing Shasta lake area to the Redwood coast to San Francisco to Monterey/Santa Cruz in August.

Next year we are thinking about a Colorado/New Mexico loop.

We are staying at the Petaluma KOA and at Redwoods River Resort in the Leggett area. Are you staying at similar places?

We did Utah, Colorado, Wyoming last year. It was amazing

Our first is a no trailer trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Winchester Mystery House, Napa area and a rodeo.

2nd trip is 10 days in the South Lake Tahoe area.

In between kids have church camp (2 different weeks), hubby has a deep sea fishing trip, and daughter has cheer camp. Add in VBS week at our church and cheer practice 3x a week all summer and there's our summertime.

Heading to AZ,UT,ID,MT,WY, and SD, with a few points in between. About 6000 miles over 4 weeks. I'm just trying to deal with the psychological aspects of $150-200 fill ups. Of course for some of you, that's just the beginning.

For us it will be Or, Id, UT, Co, WY, WA, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Shoshone?, Wild Bill museum, Lo Lo hot springs, and Silverwood. About 2000 miles and 15 days. I am thinking about $70 per 210 miles
