We are wanting to visit family in the Gladwin, MI area and are looking for a nice campground in or around Gladwin? I have seen Gladwin City Park has camping but not sure how the place is...any other ideas for campgrounds around Gladwin?

On a related note anyone been to the Saganing Eagle's Landing in Standish, MI (which is near Gladwin)? We were wondering how big the parking area is there and if there was room to boondock in our fifth wheel...

I remember 1 between gladwin and harrison that i used to deliver to. I can't place the name right now, but at the time I was willing to stay there. the state park at harrison is also pretty nice, but the sites are a little on the small size.

Go to Google Maps and enter Gladwin, Mi. Then look for campgrounds in Businesses. There's several listed. From looking at the brochure for the City Park campground, it looks like a pretty nice place.
I also like the state Park at Harrison.

It's been about five years since we stayed here but it was a very nice park, 15 miles west of Gladwin
