I think he did not want you seeing or smiling his #2. He wanted to enjoy it by himself. LOL I agree with everyone, you did not do anything wrong. Family forum did not want to use the ā€œSā€ word.

He was not only a real jerk, but a complete Moron.. As you said, what would have happened if someone was standing between your truck and his RV?

Unfortunatley this is the US of A and there are no rules about how much intellegence you must have before purchasing an RV. (or pretty much anything else) and we have to deal with dangerous idiots from time to time..(daily on the highways)

Best you said nothing and let him go on his way towards the rest of his unhappy life. You cannot reason with an idiot.

Unless he drained one (or both) ears, he missed an accumulation of effluent from the black tank....

In otherwords, he was being a s%(@head!!!

Were you looking at your watch, tapping your toe, or giving him the impression you were in a hurry? Did you move up to the 4 feet after waiting for 15 minutes? Were you standing next to his "dump?" Were you gunning your engine?
If not, as has been mentioned just chock it up to a guy who was unhappy about his own life and felt the need to try and pass his irritation on to someone else. Unfortunately life is full of unhappy people, even campers. Who knows, maybe he ate too many prunes for breakfast.

Sounds like someone starched his underwear and he was in a foul mood.

The truck was turned off, my girls were looking through brochures from the park, and my wife and I were talking in the truck. I started up the truck when he got in his truck. I saw the reverse lights and here he came. What I didn't like is that the moment he started in reverse I was on the horn. He backed up 3 and a half feet until he stopped. Someone could have been hurt bad, since he backed up blind and didn't listen to my horn.

If it took 20 minutes for him to dump maybe he has a "sore rump" LOL! that black tank could have been blocked up real good. One thing I try to do is if someone is waiting I move up and put my chemicals in the tank afterwards and let the next in line start dumping. I hate to hear about someone getting all rattled at the dump station of all places!

He probably was a jerk - but let me be the devil's advocate here for a moment. Attitude on your part? As someone asked earlier, did you pull that close to him after waiting for a while? There was not a chance that someone could cut you off with either a trailer or a MH, so why was it necessary to get that close? Reckon he would have finished sooner if he had not gotten the "would you please hurry up" signals from you?
I agree with the previous posters, but this does give an alternative view point and might explain his actions a bit more.

I would like him to try and take 20 minutes to dump his tanks at the EAA camp grounds during the fly in. They would have him dumped and flushed. Them fly boys are great but they can't wait for someone like him.
