This is the tornado that hit us at Silver Springs Campground in Rio Wisconsin on 6-7-08.
These are also posted in our rally thread, but I thought some that would not see them there might like to see the pictures. If this is not ok with the moderators, feel free to delete these.

This was right across from me

That little blue dot is the BIG iceberg blow up that was in the lake. Moved it 3-400 yards and placed it up in a tree in the woods.

Pretty much EVERYONE lost their awning. Even those that had them rolled up and strapped. The tornado just ripped them off.

Wow, I sure hope no one was hurt. It's too bad about all the damage to some of the RV's, the RV's can be replaced, lives can't.

Wow - hope no one was hurt! It could definitely have been worse (though not much for the owners of that one trailer that's in shreds). Thanks for the (sobering) reminder.

Just a reminder folks

"Where is the best place to take shelter during a Hurricane" (Also applies to tornados"

1: Indoors
2: Outdoors
3: Under ground
4: A shelter outside the storm area

(Actual question from a federal "Are you prepared" exam by the way

Correct answer: Elsewhere,, (A shelter outside the storm area)

That's all fine and good except you don't usually have the same lead time with a tornado.

I should have said it in my first post, but no one was hurt at silver springs campground. Willow Mill campground is just around the corner and they apparently had even more damage. It's unclear how many were injured or if any fatalities, but it has been comfirmed that one person was severly injured with broken legs. I have to drop another load of equipment off at Silver Springs tonight so I will try to post an update if Crystal knows anymore.
