My own 2 cents, we tried and tried to find a hybrid our mini van could tow, and in the end decided it just could not be done with out causing a lot of anxiety, and likely damage to our van. Ended up buying a used Yukon XL (Subaurban), which accomodates the family, and can handle 7000lbs safely. I would look at another TV so you can do it right with no regrets.

Good luck!

my Pontiac Montana tows my Jayco 1701 Ex-Port so far (2 small trips) without any real issues. I have an weight distribution hitch, tranny cooler and will probably add an anti-sway this weekend. my trips are short (less than 240 miles) across mostly flat land.
