Thanks
Up to my post there are 6 that use the grill, I make it 7 and like it.
2 who hate it.
And of the 2, one never used it, don't know how you can rate something with out using.
And bumpy? I don't know what bumpy does.

bumpy just reads the thousands of previous posts on this and just echo the primary sentiments. Perhaps the naysayers have just given up. the OP could do a search.
I previously was sassed at by someone who said I shouldn't comment since I hadn't used one so couldn't comment on how it cooked or the placement under the awning.
My response at that time was, I will let the others who have used one comment on it's inadequacies (and they did) but I certainly have placed a grill on a picnic table under the awning and was able to move it away from the windows so the smoke wouldn't get in, move it away from the side so it wouldn't splatter grease, etc.

Have one and use it all the time. Not really any problems to report. Sure it can get smoky under the awning but that happens at home on my deck anyway! Does seem to be just a tad bit slower, but if I am in a hurry should I be camping anyway?? I am suppose to be relaxing!

for those keeping score, this is not a sterling vote for it IMHO.
every cabin that I have rented with a front porch has a big sign posted, "NO GRILLING on PORCH" there is a reason for this.

Heaven forbid you take your camper out of the stall and get it dirty going camping!

Normally I use a charcoal grill. However, last year while camping there was a burn ban and no charcoal fires allowed due to the extremely dry conditions. I used the RVQ and was pleasantly surprised. I still prefer charcoal, but it was nice having a backup to use. Up until that trip I had viewed the RVQ as something I wish hadn't been included w/ the TT and that I had it deducted from the purchase.

Yep we used ours quite a bit but DW was not happy cleaning the RVQ so I replaced it with a Weber baby Q and use the same rack but not the propane connection. The rack is really great in a campground with no tables.

We've used ours the last 3 1/2 years a whole lot. While it worked OK I was never overly thrilled with it. However, I did like having a grill I could use with the factory low pressure propane outlet. The convenience of not having to carry bottles of propane coupled with a grill that didn't have to sit on the camp talbe was worth it for me. The drawbacks were the lower temps and small size. Ours started rotting through last year and when I saw the cost of a replacement I simply purchased a 2 burner Camp Chef stove with the BBQ box and a griddle along with carry bags for all of it. Camp chef makes a replacement hose that is intended to be used with the low pressure quick disconnect on the side of the trailer. Now that I've used this setup a couple of times this year I wish I had done it earlier. Not to mention, now when I have big neighborhood BBQs, I have a 2nd full size grill I can easily pull out and use.
