I have the Funfinder in my signature. We have used it extensively for boondocking in Mexico and the U.S. Shadow Cruiser is coming out with a 2009 16ft with a walkaround queen size bed. Low weight, short box, fully loaded and with a dry bath. Thanks to our friend and owner of the Yahoo Shadow Cruiser website, this new model was possible. Model number is X160WB. We have taken our 189FBR everywhere, mountains, beach, lakes, with no problems.

gtla9111, I have spent a lot of time looking at the Fun Finder on the net.
I think the queen size walk around bed would be the ultimate in a small trailer plan! That's what I love about the 18' Jay Feather Sport, too.
Wish one would fit in ours!

I always wanted a larger rv and we had a 33ft Trailmanor. But after all these years with the FunFinder, I don't think a bigger rig would do us any good at least not boondocking but a walk around bed would make all the difference. So now SC has a 16, 18, and 21 foot all with walk-around beds, the 21ft also comes in a slideout.
I know there are many makes and models and ours has served us well considering all the off-road places we have gone.

OK, I am 6'3" also, and I had to duck under the AC outlet in a 2008 Fun Finder X210 that we looked in at an RV show. Maybe the newer Fun Finders are shorter??? I know that the Fun Finders are billed as easier to tow because of not being as high, so I guess the downsize would have to be less headroom. Heck, I have to duck under 1 lite in the back hall and the bathroom door in my Trailmanor, and I am living OK with that.

Mtnguy, you are right -- there isn't quite as much headroom under the air conditioner. But in the rest of the trailer, I can actually stand upright and stretch my back, which is a big deal for a middle-aged person (such as myself). Then again, there's the bathroom -- I have to sit down to take a shower. It's not perfect, but it's adequate.

After all these years, I guess being 5'7" (and shrinking) isn't such a bad thing

I like the Eco too. We have the 13ft version. Seems very well built and has all we need. We pull it with our Mazda MPV van.

Thanks, that sounds pretty good. We looked at the Funfinders a couple of times.
