I do most of the grilling for us. I learned right off, that DH was not a griller.
We were having my son's birthday party at DH's house before we were married. His Mom and all of my family were here. First time any of my family had been to his house. I had worked so hard cleaning and decorating.
When the time come to cook, I handed DH the platters with the burgers and hot dogs on it and proceeded to finish the "inside" stuff.
When I went to check on the food, all I saw was burnt hockey pucks and some black hot dogs. I gasped and ask him what happened to the food. He has this blank look and told me that he had never grilled before.
Thank goodness we were close to the grocery store, an emergency run was made and more hot dogs were bought, cooked and served with out any one knowing what happened....until after we ate and I rated him out.
We still laugh about it, but I have never trusted him to grill any thing else. He now does the inside stuff while I do the grilling.
How about your family????

Most of the time Jimmy does the grilling..... that is after I've prepped & seasoned whatever it is we are putting on the grill. I do the inside work with whatever else we are having with our meal.
With one exception, not that he can't do a good job with them but I am very picky about my steaks so I usually cook the one I will have myself.
We went to a friend's home recently for burgers, etc. and discovered they eat them cooked like hockey pucks.... maybe they are related to Skip.

I don't have a Missus, so the grilling falls on me.

My wife has never turned the grill on or cooked on it! She does prepare most of what I grill so she does deserve 'some' credit

We both do it. Hot dogs and burgers are easy, I can't do chicken without them burning beyond all recognition and Mrs. C. can't do fish. It works out very well, especially since we don't eat steak.

My husband has turned on the grill...but never cooked on it.
Oh, sure, he did grill some trout on a camping trip a couple times, but.....
At home, I do all the cooking, all the prep, and all the clean-up.
And that's okay.

I do all the cooking - in or outdoor - so the answer is obvious.
