Why is it that news like this is buried on the web instead of being loudly announced?

Rushin thanks for the link because in time people will wake up to how good life can be. There is no shortage of crude known to man from what I can read just as there are no shortage of potential MH buyers if the price is right.
We will look back and ask why were we slaves to cheap energy for so long. What this article is talking about means there are going to many new millionaires if crude will stay up around $100 a barrel. I expect it will take about 5 years for production to ramp up and there will be set backs along the way but Drake had his issues in PA many years ago but over came them. So will the drillers today. Coal will be a similar story.

I like to call the Eco-Freaks Watermelons, that is environmentally green on the outside and socialist red in the middle. You can call them watermelons to there face and they don't have a clue.

In Bakersfield they're called something a lot less socially acceptable in a 'G' rated forum.

I see no good news in the article about oil prices, as this subject thread suggests.
I do see a huge supply from oil shale but that is not revolutionary. You'll never see $3 a gallon gasoline from oil shale oil. Oil shale oil is only a viable option when oil is over $100 a barrel.
Yes, we have lots of natural gas here in western PA. Lots.

The article makes it pretty clear that it's break-even point is around $60 a barrel. That doesn't mean it will sell for that, but the big thing is that it is here, and not in another politically unstable, third-world despotic country.

They will not rest until every RV and SUV is sent to the crusher, every American pays $10 a gallon for gas, and every commuter drives a Smart car or a Prius. Or rides a bicycle. Or walks.
If you live in the country, and can't use mass transit, according to the green crowd, it's YOUR fault you can't ride the bus or the subway. YOU were the one who wanted a decent quality of life, where you didn't live in an apartment building with walls so thin you could hear your neighbor pass gas.
