Cheap, simple and work fine.
Good luck.

I like the idea of the little bike rack on the floor, but I wonder, don't the bikes jostle around during transit? You stick what, the front or rear tires in there? Kick-stands down?
Currently we line up our two kids bikes along the sofa on the 23B and just tension-strap them. But I"ve been at a loss with what to do with 2 adult bikes.
There'd be plenty of floor room in most hybrids for the floor bike rack thing.

Another viable option is folding bikes that are easier to store in the vehicle or camper.
I am seriously considering a couple for the adults-but I like the floor rack idea also. This would allow the purchase of regular size, less expensive bikes for travel.

Mercy me you got yourself a 20 wheeler.
Hopefully you don't have to pay additional road tolls for all them axles you're hauling

We made two of the floor racks (for two bikes each) from pvc using a plan here on rv.net. Made the things in less than an hour and work great. They haven't "walked" as of yet, but we bungie just in case. Set our front tires on floor mats as well. So far, they've worked perfectly in our 23B.

I repeat the question, with one tire in the rack and another say on a mat, the bikes don't jump and jostle in transit?

Not sure if you're referring to my post, but as I said, they haven't walked at all. I was very skeptical first time, didn't want the bigs in the trailer for obvious reasons, but I'm sold now. After some rough roads and abrupt stops, they've still never moved in transit.

We did it too...took about 90 minutes and was about $36 in materials, plus a package of bungee cords. Works great!
Ours is the 3 bike rack, but can hold 5 according to pics on here...

Holy Cow!!! I'm impressed. I know money and size always comes into play, but did you look at something with a deck on it?

Can you provide link to instructions or pics on how to make your own?
Thanks
