Looking for a decent campground in the Cleveland area. Actually I was looking at Willow Lake Park in Brunswick but saw a couple of last year's reviews and they were not very good. This is really where I would like to stay if possible. I need to be near Brunswick. Anyone know anything about this park or anything near to it. Cedar Point is too far away. Thanks for any input you have.

We've enjoyed staying at the Streetsboro KOA. From there, it's only 10-15 minutes to Hudson, so I'm guessing that travel time to Brunswick would be about 35 minutes or so.

Check out Clays Park Resort. While a little on the pricey side they have a water park, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room, restaurant, 2 bars, an much more. As they say you get what ya pay for. July 18-20 is the rock fest, we will be there. An the 4th of July fireworks is worth seeing. At 500 acres a golf cart is nice to get around.

2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. Look for the State camp grounds. They are the best kept secret in Ohio. They are on line and will show you the park and your spot All are very clean and safe

Just checking out rates for camping and most list a family of "2 adults"
Since when is that a family? What do we do with the 4 kids.
Clay's Park would be over $80.00 a night. I know they have a water park, but that is alot for camping.

We are looking in the Massillon and Canton area. Anyone try the KOA in East Sparta or Cutty's ?

There are a few campgrounds in the Medina area and a new one that opened in Grafton. Search out RogerNCindy or CindyNRoger on this site. They live in Brunswick and can probably give you the best and closest campgrounds.

I had to edit this post. My previous statement was based on someone else staying at Clay's. We were there this past weekend and had a GREAT time and are looking to get a seasonal.
